Sorry to clutter emails but I think it important to ‘second’ Munazza’s comments, and offer hearty thanks to Eric, Michael and Helen for all the hard work keeping INLT active and productive.

And thanks as well to the new team for taking INLT activities on with such enthusiasm.

All the best Iain Hay

Dear INLT colleagues

There have been a number of volunteers to take on coordination of the INLT into the next stage of its life.

The present three co-coordinators are being replaced by 'network coordinators'. This change will be made on the webpage next week. The new network coordinators are:

Julie Bartlett-Trafford: j.trafford at auckland.ac.nz<mailto:j.trafford at auckland.ac.nz>, Centre for Academic Development, University of Auckland, New Zealand
Niamh Moore-Cherry: niamh.moore at ucd.ie<mailto:niamh.moore at ucd.ie>, School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy, University College Dubin, Ireland
Clovis C. Perry, Jr.: clovis.perry at kctcs.edu<mailto:clovis.perry at kctcs.edu>
, Bluegrass Community and Technical College
, Danville, KY, USA
Helen Walkington, hwalkington at brookes.ac.uk<mailto:hwalkington at brookes.ac.uk>, HIgher Education Academy, UK

Niamh, Clovis and Helen have also offered help organise f2f events in the future; so too has Munazza Fatima: munazza.fatima at iub.edu.pk<mailto:munazza.fatima at iub.edu.pk>, The Islamia University Bahawalpur
Pakistan.

Ruth Healey, University of Chester, UK, has volunteered to explore what sort of social networking options the INLT would like from now on; James Boxall, GISciences Centre, Dalhousie University, Canada, is ready to take over hosting the list serv, and there have been other offers for the website too. These have been at the University of Canterbury, where they have been managed by Paul Bealing since 2006, and it's time to move them on.

Of the three of us who have been the INLT co-coordinators, Helen Walkington is now a network coordinator. Michael Solem will continue to be available during the transition period. And I have retired with this email.

I'm sure that the network is now in excellent hands, and we can all look forward to a new era of connectivity and activity for the INLT.

best wishes

Eric
